Organizational Effectiveness Inventory®

The OEI complements the OCI® by measuring the Causal Factors — the levers for change — that shape culture, and the outcomes of culture at the individual, group, and organizational levels. A research-based alternative to standard employee attitude surveys, the OEI links climate and culture across three dimensions.

HOW IT works

Two forms of the OCI® work together to give organizations a complete picture of where their culture is today — and a benchmark for where they want it to go.

Results are aggregated, electronically analyzed, and reported. A Human Synergistics consultant or Ephektiv accredited practitioner guides leadership through the findings and the steps required for transformation.

Current Culture

OCI® Standard

Measures the current culture of an organization in terms of shared behavioral norms — the behaviors members believe are required to "fit in" and meet expectations. Profiled on the Human Synergistics Circumplex to show the relative strength of Constructive, Passive/Defensive, and Aggressive/Defensive norms.

Ideal Culture

OCI®-Ideal

Complements the standard OCI® by identifying the optimal or preferred culture for the organization — the behaviors leaders and members believe should be expected to maximize effectiveness. The result is a benchmark of the ideal culture against which the current culture can be compared to identify gaps and targets for change.
