Design Validated with Rationale

Its not new news. Google has a new logo. However, the rationale behind the design changes are very  well thought out. This is a great example of how Design can be purposeful and validated through strategic intent. Here is a great overview.




While esoteric and whimsy can be useful in design, the marriage between form and true function is where great design can really shine. As you create your brand, as you design your strategy, as you design your company for success, make sure that well informed rationale is driving your efforts.
